CBI Widens NEET-UG Paper Leak Probe, Journalist Arrested

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its investigation into the alleged NEET-UG paper leak, conducting searches across multiple locations in Gujarat and apprehending a journalist in Jharkhand. The journalist, identified as Jamaluddin, is accused of aiding a school principal and vice-principal in Hazaribagh, who were previously arrested for their involvement in the illicit scheme.

The CBI’s operation extended to Godhra, Ahmedabad, Kheda, and Anand districts in Gujarat, targeting individuals suspected of participating in the conspiracy that purportedly aimed to assist 30 students at a Godhra examination center. Additionally, the agency has apprehended two individuals in Patna for their alleged roles in disseminating the leaked question papers.
