Sreeleela’s Non-Involvement Confirmed

Amidst a whirlwind of speculation regarding Telugu actor Sreeleela’s alleged departure from Varun Dhawan’s upcoming comedy, producer Ramesh Taurani has definitively clarified that Sreeleela was never cast in the film.

Casting Still Underway

Taurani, in an exclusive statement, disclosed that the filmmakers are actively finalizing the cast and have yet to approach any actress for the lead role opposite Varun Dhawan. The film, a highly anticipated collaboration between Varun and his father, director David Dhawan, recently wrapped its initial schedule. An official announcement regarding the female lead is expected soon.

Sreeleela’s Rising Star

Sreeleela, a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, has garnered acclaim for her roles in films such as Dhamaka, Skanda, Bhagavanth Kesari, Aadikeshava, and Guntur Kaaram. While her potential involvement in the Dhawan project sparked excitement, fans will have to wait for further updates on her next Bollywood venture.

Varun Dhawan’s Packed Slate

Varun Dhawan, known for his charismatic performances in comedies like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1, is currently juggling multiple projects. These include Atlee’s Baby John, a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Theri, and Raj and DK’s Citadel: Honey Bunny, an Indian spin-off of the popular American spy series Citadel. He’s also slated to reunite with Janhvi Kapoor for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, produced by Karan Johar.

Summary

Rumors of Sreeleela’s exit from Varun Dhawan’s upcoming comedy have been debunked by producer Ramesh Taurani. The film’s cast is still being finalized, with an official announcement expected soon. Meanwhile, both Sreeleela and Varun Dhawan have exciting projects in the pipeline.
